Earlier

I sat myself down today to do some school and it felt oh so good. Yes, I may be slightly weird. But I do enjoy my Bible college very much. I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment and progress. Then, set it all aside for the Safe Night Out at the city hall this evening. The weather couldn't have been more perfect and the turn out was awesome.
I promised myself tonight that I would go to bed earlier than midnight, which it seems has been the hour I get in bed for the last week or so. And, it looks like I will :).

A Work of Art

In the midst of our chaotic Sunday's, I've recently found a type of rest in them. A time to breath easier even if it means running around. Enjoying the little moments in between. I spent the afternoon working on this piece of art =D. It was crazy hair night at Awana's and instead of simply giving Luke a haircut, he wanted me to leave the middle for the night. With some sticky, hair glue and yellow hair spray, I'd say it looks pretty awesome. =)

P.s. I swear I have hair in the back of my throat! Gross! Why does this always happen to me? Do I just leave my mouth open when I'm concentrating or something?? Must be, because this happens when I'm knitting too and I get little fuzzies in the back of my throat....

Pumpkin Party

Ever since I've gotten back the days seem to be so long. Good, but long. We had ourselves a pumpkin carving party this evening with friends. Lots of fun and lots of pumpkin everywhere. The day has led to many new opportunities. Looking forward to this coming month. Up at the crack of dawn this morning, I'm ready for bed please!

Kickin In

*Sigh* My first day home and everyone decides to wake up really early :). The day started out by me getting to draw a spider tattoo on my best friend for her Halloween costume. Fun stuff! I rather enjoyed unpacking and cleaning up today. My spastic brain has kicked in again and I've started gathering ideas for all sorts of projects I want to take on, including a Mary Kay holiday giveaway and holiday shoots. Forcing myself not to think about it now. And, I got to spend the most wonderful time with my lovey. He's wonderful to talk to and listen to. I'm such a lucky girl. He melts my heart all the time.

Home Sweet Home

Okay so I can't exactly pull my camera out while I'm doing 70 down the highway. My phone was simply the only way to capture what in real life was very neat looking. As I was nearing Florida, I could see the very distinctive line of cloud cover that I woke up to in Savannah. Driving into the sun! Oh so happy to be home again! My bed is calling me :)

Sleep Please

To say I'm overly tired would be an understatement, physically and mentally. It was sad to leave today and I didn't sleep so well last night. Plus, driving all day today has left me randomly laughing uncontrollably, clumsy, irritable, worrying, not being able to spell anything while I'm writing this, terribly crumbling my scone as I'm trying to eat it here at Starbucks, leaving my stuff all over the place, and then randomly laughing uncontrollably at myself again, imagining how ridiculous I look to Rachel and Jon sitting next to me. I simple do not have it together tonight. Sleep is a must for another 5 hour drive home tomorrow. But I am so ready. I think I need a hug...

P.s. This picture obviously was from yesterdays shoot, but they were too cute to only share one. Plus, I didn't have time to take one today. And, I'm not going to stress about it.. :)

The Little Princess

This day couldn't have been better or more full for that matter. In the middle of it all, we found time for a photoshoot with this little princess. As you can see, I was very motivated to incorporate the fall leaves all around us up here.
My time is closing in now and I'll be going back down to Rachel's tomorrow and I'm quite saddened. I've enjoyed it so much up here. But I'm excited to go home as well.

Pie Time

Cleaned ALL day today. It was wonderful! Grant and I set out for an adventure around lunch time and got lots of goodies. :) Took the back roads to pick up a friend and I honestly think the trees got brighter since yesterday! Got home, cleaned some more and made this apple pie, which is now presently in all of our stomachs. Delicious! And, now time for a princess movie :)

Apple Orchard

We hit up the apple orchard today :) Driving through the mountains on the way there was magical, as we passed through forests of rich autumn colors. I simply wanted to take it all in at once, and yet I had to focus on looking straight ahead as I didn't feel so great from all the twisty roads. The apple orchard was awesome! Wonderful experience and we came home with all sorts of treats from the local store right next door.

A Days Trip

I spent the majority of this day, driving to my second stop :) Though it might seem small, I'm quite proud of myself for making it through Atlanta quite well. Closer to the mountains now :) I can see them on the horizon. Today I'm feeling homesick. Like a said before, it takes me a day to settle in a new location. For now, snuggled on the couch watching LOTR with all the kids :).

Alive

It was a completely full day! We explored Fort Pulaski and had a mini shoot with Rachel and Jon. The fort  was so very neat! Seeing new things and learning makes me feel alive, if that makes any sense. And, quite possibly this cool, dry air does me good!

Sightseeing

Sightseeing with Rachel today! So much fun and so many new (old) things to see.  It is absolutely freezing here! Thankfully it started warming up later afternoon. We saw a home spun yarn store, the neatest candy store, the old cotton exchange, and the huge Catholic church in this picture. It was gorgeous!! And, the day is still not over.  J Having lots of fun!

Road Trip

Well I made it here safe and sound J. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to post this until tomorrow hopefully at some point. My day did not start off as planned. To make a long story short, my dad didn’t like one tire on my car and thought it might be better for me to get a new one before I left. After running all around Clermont for a tire place that had a 15 inch tire in stock, I started getting rather frustrated. Not to mention it’s like 1pm now… Finally, got one put on in Sanford and was finally on my way at 3pm. Arriving here for church and had a lovely dinner with friends. Here’s to a good night’s sleep!

The Day Before

Ho hum...blah. That's about the majority of my thoughts as I pack tonight. No I'm not done. I always get so excited right before I leave and then when it comes down to the day before I don't feel like packing and I don't feel like leaving either. I'm weird. It always takes a day or so for me to feel normal again. I'm such a home body some times. But on the other hand, I've very excited to take a road trip myself and see my friends :). It will be good and it will be a change of scenery which will result in lots of picture taking! Can't promise wifi and internet for at least the next few days, so we'll see what I can do.

A Special Find

I'm overly thrilled with this find! I've been looking for about 2 years now. Caleb, Jordan, and I did a bit (or as they would say a lot) of shopping today. Stopped in multiple thrift stores on the way back and after thoroughly checking the shoes for boots, I stumbled upon these $1 leather boots right in front of me as I left for another section.

Can you tell I've been waiting til the very last moment of the day to take a picture? *Sigh* I need me some light! I would say I'd promise sun tomorrow, but it looks like it's going to be pretty nasty out :(.

He's going to be soo embarrassed by this one. But I don't care, it's too cute to not post :) And, he looks so happy, how could I resist.

I'm a happy girl. Lots of fellowship today. Lots of friends and lots of food =D Love church potlucks! Shopping with a friend and road trip planning. Starting to get excited here! Now sleep please! Earliest I've been in bed in a week!

Pink and Sparkly

I cannot explain to you how happy these shoes make me. My new sparkly, princess shoes. I shall wear them everywhere!

Hands of Time

This morning I headed to have a photo shop mentoring session by a friend. Yes, it was slightly overwhelming. But I love learning new things and so in many ways it was very exciting. I believe I retained quite a few things. Worked a bit on re-lining the suitcase I'm re-doing. And, this evening had dinner with Luke and some friends. Totally loving this cooler weather! Especially this morning.

Juggling Man

Today is a good day :) Gym with a friend and errands around town. Restoration of an old suitcase. Plus, any day I get to spend with Luke automatically gets rated as a good day. Juggling happens to be something he greatly enjoys and is quite awesome at it.

Catching the Light

This handsome boy and I took a walk down the road this afternoon, hoping to catch a few rays of white light before everything had an orange glow. Looks like we caught some :) And, got to watch the sky turn colors as it set. *Sigh*

Take A Chance

Every once in awhile I'm reminded of how much I dislike change and I know I've mentioned this before. But it seems just when I start getting settled into something, God likes changing things up a bit and making sure I'm not relying on something "steady" in my life then Him. He pulls it out from under me and I realize those "steady" things aren't really so steady after all. A change up also seems to make me thankful for things and causes me to look to God for my daily needs instead of something I've become used to. Time to wake up He says! :) Take a chance, live a little on the crazy side. How exciting! Besides the best things in life come from being able to visibly see they only came because of God.

Reconstructing

Amy and I decided to do some reconstructing of the past today. These pictures of us were taken over a year and half ago. I miss these times :( So many things in life have changed since then. Thankfully though our friendship hasn't. Putting a time line together makes us realize how crazy we were a couple years ago. Absolutely awesome we were :)

Just Go Away

I'm not quite sure why, but this picture makes me happy. Maybe it's the focusing or something.
Can I just say that I am sooo very tired and sick of this rain! Please just go away! I don't mean to complain here, but after a few days of no sunshine I start to feel like a flower that is starting to wilt. And from the looks of it, it seems it'll be sticking around for another two days or so. Thankfully I have no work tomorrow. Maybe a movie day? A reading a book on the couch all snuggled up with a blanket day? Or perhaps a day with my best friend who has been gone for far too long? We shall see... :)

A Sweet Surprise

Thought I wasn't going to be able to get this up tonight. Our internet has been down due to the rain I believe, or something like that :).

These are my beautiful, cheerful flowers that Luke surprised me with today. I love them! They remind me of fall and that is something I need very much to be reminded of right now as it continues to get hotter....

Saw Courageous tonight with some friends. Wonderful, wonderful movie!

Birthday Boy

It was my little brothers birthday (I'm proudly able to call all three of them that :D )today. We drove around town this morning and found an estate sale. And, I found myself a little treasure there :). Headed to the bank and right as we were pulling in, it poured. Always fun wiping the inside of the car off with a sock.. That's about all I had in there. And, that is now the second time I've had to use a pair of socks.

As far as Caleb's birthday celebration, we headed to Sky Zone earlier, dinner, and ice cream tonight. Lovely day :)

Practice Shots

Messing with some new shots for Shane's upcoming Christmas cd. Not the end result, but we couldn't reveal that early anyways now could we? :) Attempted to make some Halloween cookies today. Got as far as making the cookie itself and then quit. I think I shall try to frost them tomorrow.
Also I might add that sunset walks in this weather are amazing. Especially when it's with someone special.

Pink Fields

It's a very fun thing to have friends that are also photographers. Double photo shoots are so fun! That's exactly what I did today with Shelby, plus lunch :). Fun, fun! These milk weed fields were gorgeous! Shelby looks like an angel sitting in the midst of them :)

Had the wonderful pleasure of keeping the door open today at the office, allowing the cool morning breeze to circulate the stale air inside. And, because I sit somewhat near the door I could also hear the birds chirping away in the trees. *Sigh* I could work forever in those conditions.

Getting excited for tomorrow. Lunch and a double photo-shoot with a friend :). Oh, the possibilities....

Flies By

Okay, I'm going to be perfectly honest here. I did not take this picture today. But it reminds me of fall and I would like to believe for a few days that fall is here to stay.  Let's see I've been going for 243 days now, I've completely lost memory of many of the pictures. Interestingly, Google+ has all my Project 365 pictures in one album and I can look at them all together at once. It's really neat to look through. Getting close to one hundred days left. My, my, where has the time gone?

Clearer

This change of weather makes me feel like a new person. I feel as if summer heat puts a cloud over the way I think, and the moment the dry air and coolness hit, I can think clearer. Heat must truly be oppressive, not only physically but mentally as well. Yeah so it's a rambling night :). Goodbye weekend. Hello first week of October. I believe this month has many exciting things in store ^_^

Dad and Jordan found this rather large praying mantis on dad's truck. Due to a children's tv show that featured a praying mantis in one episode, I am rather frightful of these things.

A World Of Difference

Well it was an exceptional day. Action shot =D Luke took this and for some reason I liked it. Primarily because of the light around my hair and the sun setting in the background. We had a picnic by the lake side, thoroughly enjoying this first day of October and the lovely weather it brought with it. Now please Lord, just let it stay :).
