Break Time

I regret to say that for my mental health I will be taking a week break from my Project 365 after today =D . I thought about two weeks but I don't think I would be able to stand it. However, I will still be taking a picture each day, and will post them all next Wednesday. Hopefully I will come back refreshed and full of new ideas :). Until next week....

Lily Meets Danbo

This crazy Tuesday left no time for lots of creative picture thoughts. A midst all the fabric I used for projects today, sat my baby bed with its newly made mattress/pillow. I'm trying to think if this is the first picture Lily has ever been featured in on my blog.... I do believe it is. She pretty much just looks like a white fluff ball, that needs a bath, staring down at Danbo. Danbo looks in awe at her fluffiness. =P

Wild Whispers

I drove by this field on the way home from work today, and immediately decided to go back when the sun got a little lower. It's one of those days I wish I had a little sister to dress up. Next best thing, an awesome brother that listens to my crazy ideas, is patient, takes awesome pictures, and gets excited with me! All of this in about 10 minutes =D. Sooo...now I totally need to do a photo
shoot in this field very soon with someone!

Creative Busyness

Luke calls this my "creative busyness." Always making something =D. I made this newborn tutu this afternoon, and this evening saw the baby girl it would be for. I'll be making a new one I think, a preemie one. She's sooo tiny! There is no way this one will fit :) Guess I'll have to save it for the next one.

Decisions, Decisions

I've been such a procrastinator the past few days, not taking a picture until the last few moments. I'm so thrilled with the pair of wedges I got today (and the price), I couldn't help but post a picture of them. Whilst shopping around thrift stores, Luke and I found a cute, vintage store for photography props. My brain is going over all the things I saw that I want and trying to make a decision on which to buy first. :)

The Norm

My Friday consisted of normal things, the everyday things. I must admit those are my favorite. This evening I've been working on another baby blanket. But this time I'm keeping this one for a prop. :) I love it's fluffiness. It reminds me of a cloud.

Happy Day

Today has been my favorite day this week. I got to spend it with Luke =D. Spent the afternoon vehicle shopping and in the end left with a truck... Yay!! So very excited for him. What a wonderful relief. Later we ate dinner (for both of us, our first meal of the day! ridiculous....) whilest watching the sunset in Bushnell. God is so good. I cannot explain how happy I am at this moment. :)

My Little Bed

This picture describes the better half of my day today. I bought the wood for this today and had only a small picture to go by. I wish I could take this bed into Home Depot and shove it in the faces of all the males that scoffed at me. My name is Amber, I'm a woman, and I can build anything I put my mind to, thank you very much! Well now with that said, I love it! It turned out better than I thought it would. Shane was such a help with all the cutting! Can't wait to use it on an upcoming newborn shoot!

God Gave Me You

I do believe this computer is giving me the worst headache of my life. Finally got my butt back to the gym today =D Thankfully, my gym partner is back and I'll have some motivation to go.

The colors and texture of this picture remind me of a painting. I have no idea what kind of a weed it is, but I like it because it's different. And, the words explain how I feel today =D. I'm very blessed, even through life's hardships.

A Little Light

My busy day at the office was suddenly, and surprisingly brightened when my best friend showed up with these lovely flowers and an extra special vase. So sweet and thoughtful :) Without much energy, I spent the rest of my day knitting, and I've finished up the first baby blanket ^_^

Nothing Too Mindful

Much of today was a simple Sunday, consisting of naps, driving in the rain, eating french fries, and having a BBQ. Nothing too mindful or stressful. *Sigh* Weekends can't ever be long enough :) But I mustn't complain because it's been a wonderful weekend and a long one at that.

A Weekly Run

I have found that I now enjoy waking up on Saturday mornings, heading outside to help my dad who is already working on my car, and then making our weekly run to Advanced Auto parts. I think I rather like working on cars now...so long as progress is being made.

Quick snap shot tonight. After a lovely night out, Luke and I went to High Five (I can't ever get enough of that place). I've taken a break from a baby prop I'm knitting to post this. And, I'm now sitting here listening to Shane and Luke practicing recordings for Shane's Christmas cd. :)

Lens Friends

I got to spend today with Shelby, making lens friends :) That would be what is around my lens. They're made to keep children's attention during photoshoots. I think we spent more time talking then we did making them, but that just made it all the more fun. Plus, we had to give each piece lots and lots of time to dry because our glue wasn't the greatest. Such fun :)

Too Much Fun

I spent the majority of the day babysitting my favorite girl. We spent the day making cookies, knitting, painting nails, and watching movies. Such fun! Came home and got picked up in a rail buggie by my love and went for a frozen yogurt run! That I must say was also very fun!

PS. The website is up and running, but I'm having an issue with one of the items and so it won't be posted today either. It's being oh so frustrating!

New and Exciting Things

I was altogether thrilled with my new photography cd covers that I made today! I was so excited that I went all the way to the store tonight to buy a wax seal kit, to close them off. And, I have some more exciting news! My website is now finish....but I'm waiting until tomorrow to post it. I know, that's just terrible of me, but I need to sleep on it :)

Something New

Yes I will admit this in not the most interesting picture of the day, but it was a large part of my day. Mom and I have begun knitting baby blankets, and are waiting to get something started with some other ladies in the community.
Why do the days have to go by so fast? I never feel as if there are enough hours in the day. It is now 9pm and I have yet to eat dinner. *Sigh* Slow down please! =D

I'm going to break the rules again today because I can ;) and upload more than one picture. I can't help it. I can't choose one. Caleb and I had an adventure today, and during it we visited this little lady. I don't think I've posted a picture of her before and I don't know why because she is soo pretty. I love her color and I especially like her white eyelashes. They're so neat looking!

My Home

This is where I live. Everyday when I head home from wherever I've been I get to come home to my safe haven, my home tucked away. The events of this weekend have made me realize how fortunate I am to have my family with me, to have a home nestled in the hills, a room that expresses who I am, a place to dream, and a place to relax.

Free As A Bird

To say I've been enjoying my car, would be an understatement. After Shelby's lovely birthday party, I spent the rest of the evening cruising around town with Luke looking at trucks for him. I absolutely love reclining the chair all the way back and watching the sky/clouds go by (note this is not while I'M driving :D ) It's just so free!

Which To Remember

I musn't lie today was filled with many, many stresses that made me want to run away. But it was also filled with many happy moments, that began and ended the day. So I will choose to remember those :). This is a baby, pumpkin hat I finished knitting today, that I'll be using for a Autumn photoshoot. I'm entirely happy with how it turned out and can't wait to see little Beau in it.

At The End

Had a whirlwind day with Amy, filled with cleaning, a massage, and a photo shoot at Park Avenue. I've also started knitting a little pumpkin hat for a fall shoot :) Thankful for a stay at home day tomorrow :) But I must say it's always nice at the end of the day to look back and smile on the days events.

Anticipation

Today I got to spend the majority of it with Amy :) Spent a tiring but fun, half hour jumping at SkyZone. Made a lovely dinner and I'm now sitting at the computer with Amy's very squishy pillow (that I love so much!) editing pictures and looking for ideas for tomorrow. So excited! ;) Goodnight world..

Rainy Days

Today was simply a cuddle couch day. As it's getting closer and closer (sounding hopeful) to fall,
I'm starting to getting all sorts of ideas for knitting projects. This always happens to me every year, at this time. I guess it's a good thing. Knitting is for cozy days :) When you have nothing better to do than sit on the couch and watch Christmas classics. Oh sigh, now I'm starting to excited myself. Let's just start with finishing my knitting projects from last year :/

Be My Friend

This picture makes me laugh... Mr. Frog didn't want to have anything to do with Danbo, and neither did any other frog/toad for that matter. By the time we were finished he wasn't such a pretty green anymore lol.

Fairy Dust

This didn't turn out quite like I had planned, but it's too late to be picky tonight :) And, I believe it still looks like the magical, fairy dust it is. I'm few on words this evening. And would like it very much if this stuff would enable me to fly away to another place and time, just for a bit :)

Up For Anything

I've been looking for a bicycle like this for so long for a shoot idea I've had and I finally found one and borrowed it a couple of weeks ago, and due to the weather was finally able to use it today. Is it strange that my heart sores and leaves me speechless and all together entirely happy when evening lighting is perfect? That is how I felt tonight. I love how Luke is always up for doing this with me *Sigh* Goodnight world!

Meet Danbo

This is Danbo, he is my creation :) And, I finally finished him today. I don't know what it is about his single facial expression but it's very versatile. It may be a little silly but he's so cute and I've been having fun posing him this afternoon.

My Very Own

I am spending this evening (and a lot of the late afternoon trying to get the printer to work right) making my very own Danbo. I'm all together very excited about it and I hope it turns out :). It will be well worth it if it will save me $60 for a real one, because it really isn't worth that. My mom has made me feel insane about it, but I think he's too cute.

Away With The Sun

The sun was hitting the milk weed, giving off a warm glow. The world was very much alive as the sun was sinking low. The wind swept past the brush, wrapping itself around my body, and through my hair. Wishing I could lay down in the midst of it, and be completely enveloped in it all, I could hear a voice that rose above it all, "I love you. I created this for you, this is my beauty. Do you like it? Does it enthrall you?" My heart melted all the way through. My Savior woes me, because he delights in me. And I danced in the field with my Savior near, falling deeper in love, watching my worries float away with the sun.

One Step At A Time

I've come to the conclusion that I am an over-exuberant thinker at times. Must take everything one step at a time. These are the words I must tell myself over and over again, as my racing brain says "let's do it all at once!" Ever get a sinking feeling when you realize your circumstances won't allow for all your brilliant ideas. Yeah, I get that quite often... And, here I am rambling. But this is a place for my thoughts. So I must also write something positive because there are too many positive things in my life to only write my frustrations. I am shooting the pictures for Shane upcoming Christmas cd, hopefully this Saturday. The setup for this is one of my crazy ideas that is actually coming true. Yay!

All In One

Today's post is a collaboration of my many flower pictures. So much wonderfulness in one picture, it makes me happy.

It's now the beginning of another month. And, I cannot help but get a twinge of excitement at the coming season. This year has gone by so fast, I cannot believe it's already this time again, before you know it, it'll be Christmas time. I am so ready for Autumn. I'm in need of some crisp, cool air, please!! I'm ready for color. I'm ready for something new. Something I don't think normally of, but I'm so thankful God created seasons. I'm someone that needs change, I need creativeness, and a different flow every now and again. Seems like God is the same way :) How neat!
