Birthday Boy

It was my little brothers birthday (I'm proudly able to call all three of them that :D )today. We drove around town this morning and found an estate sale. And, I found myself a little treasure there :). Headed to the bank and right as we were pulling in, it poured. Always fun wiping the inside of the car off with a sock.. That's about all I had in there. And, that is now the second time I've had to use a pair of socks.

As far as Caleb's birthday celebration, we headed to Sky Zone earlier, dinner, and ice cream tonight. Lovely day :)

Practice Shots

Messing with some new shots for Shane's upcoming Christmas cd. Not the end result, but we couldn't reveal that early anyways now could we? :) Attempted to make some Halloween cookies today. Got as far as making the cookie itself and then quit. I think I shall try to frost them tomorrow.
Also I might add that sunset walks in this weather are amazing. Especially when it's with someone special.

Pink Fields

It's a very fun thing to have friends that are also photographers. Double photo shoots are so fun! That's exactly what I did today with Shelby, plus lunch :). Fun, fun! These milk weed fields were gorgeous! Shelby looks like an angel sitting in the midst of them :)

Had the wonderful pleasure of keeping the door open today at the office, allowing the cool morning breeze to circulate the stale air inside. And, because I sit somewhat near the door I could also hear the birds chirping away in the trees. *Sigh* I could work forever in those conditions.

Getting excited for tomorrow. Lunch and a double photo-shoot with a friend :). Oh, the possibilities....

Flies By

Okay, I'm going to be perfectly honest here. I did not take this picture today. But it reminds me of fall and I would like to believe for a few days that fall is here to stay.  Let's see I've been going for 243 days now, I've completely lost memory of many of the pictures. Interestingly, Google+ has all my Project 365 pictures in one album and I can look at them all together at once. It's really neat to look through. Getting close to one hundred days left. My, my, where has the time gone?

Clearer

This change of weather makes me feel like a new person. I feel as if summer heat puts a cloud over the way I think, and the moment the dry air and coolness hit, I can think clearer. Heat must truly be oppressive, not only physically but mentally as well. Yeah so it's a rambling night :). Goodbye weekend. Hello first week of October. I believe this month has many exciting things in store ^_^

Dad and Jordan found this rather large praying mantis on dad's truck. Due to a children's tv show that featured a praying mantis in one episode, I am rather frightful of these things.

A World Of Difference

Well it was an exceptional day. Action shot =D Luke took this and for some reason I liked it. Primarily because of the light around my hair and the sun setting in the background. We had a picnic by the lake side, thoroughly enjoying this first day of October and the lovely weather it brought with it. Now please Lord, just let it stay :).
